NORTH TEXAS MASTIFFS
Welcome
North Texas Mastiffs is located 35 Miles North of Dallas in the small town of Gunter. We have had the pleasure of raising and sharing our home with English Mastiffs for over 10 years. Our dogs are bred with size, temperment, and health in mind. We feel a Mastiff puppy should be first and foremost a good family companion and good example to the Mastiff breed, with Large bone and good structure. Whether the new owners want a "couch potatoe" to watch football with or a "show dog" they will find these pups have a good solid foundation of which to begin.
All our Mastiffs reside in our home with us and NONE are kennel dogs. They are our pets and are considered family members. This does however restrict the number of puppies we raise, focusing on "Quality litters" not "Quantity". When we decide to do a breeding, conformation,health, and temperment traits are all taken into careful consideration in order to produce sound, balanced, healthy pups.
With six grandchildren, our pups are certainly not lacking on handling and socialization! They were all "hand delivered" and have had personal attention since the day they were born until they go to their forever homes. Most are learning (some will be using) the doggie door themselves by 6-7 weeks old. (This is a tremendous help with potty training for the new owner)
We love to keep in touch with our past "puppy owners" and love to see what beautiful dogs our puppies have become. The ultimate compliment is when many of our previous owners come back for another one of our pups or make refferals to their friends and familes telling them about North Texas Mastiffs. We feel a good breeder doesn't just sell a puppy shake their hand and say "Good luck with your pup"..We know Genetically we are producing a great pup, but understand there can be challenges in raising a Mastiff pup. Chances are we have come across these challenges in the past and are here to help in raising your Mastiff pup and answering any questions or concerns that may come up during the challenging puppy or adolecent period as well.
Our dogs come out of some of the finest lines in the country, and we are confident in being able to offer a full two year health/hip Guarentee on all of our pups.
