Major is an AKC CGC, TDI Male who is truely an Ambassador to the Mastiff Breed. Major is 36.5" at the shoulder and 240 pounds. He produces BIG Boned Gorgeous pups.
Major received his CGC at 9 months old and at a year old took & passed TDI test. He likes nothing better than to be with people and is often seen being used as a "pillow" for the Grandkids to use while playing their video games, or just hanging out. We tease he is the best babysitter on four legs!
Major has done hospital work in the Dallas/Plano area and loves to pull a wagon or pony cart filled with kids. I am honored to be 4'11" tall and to be able to walk him ANYWHERE on just a buckle collar without him ever pulling or acting silly. Often people ask me "what kind of dog is that?" "How much do they eat?" and "How come we never see any of these dogs out and about?" Well the sad truth is that honestly ALOT of folks wait until their cute little puppy is 100+ pounds before they ever start setting limits with them and socializing them..We can not stress enough to our new puppy owners the importance of socialization and manners at a young age. All Mastiffs have the capability of walking on a buckle collar like Major, and he is out an about to prove that it is a matter of "RESPECT" and not "SIZE" that will determine how many Mastiffs we will see out and about in the future.
